Share your booking link on Google, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp
Paste your ResRes booking page link into your online profiles so guests can book from wherever they find you.
Your ResRes booking page link works anywhere you can paste a web address. Add it to each of your online profiles yourself — you don't need to wait for any integration. Exact labels and options vary between platforms and account types, and platforms change their wording from time to time.
What you need
Your location's booking page link. Open Setup, scroll to the Booking widget card, and choose Copy booking link. Each location has its own link, so check you're on the right location first.
Google Business Profile
- Sign in to your Google Business Profile for the restaurant.
- In Google Search choose Booking, or in Google Maps choose Edit profile and then the booking or reservation link category — Google's exact labels vary.
- Choose Add link (or Add another link), paste your ResRes booking link and Save.
- If Google offers Set preferred link, you can choose your ResRes link as the business preferred one.
- Check your public profile afterwards. Google may take some time to review and show the link.
Google's own guide: Add a booking link to your Business Profile (opens in a new tab).
What to expect on Google
- A link you add yourself does not send Google your live table availability. It appears as a booking link — under Find a table or in a list of links — not as the prominent integrated Reserve button that booking partners get.
- Choosing your link as Business preferred only puts it first in the list of links you added. It does not guarantee top placement and does not replace a Reserve with Google partner link (for example OpenTable) if you have one.
- ResRes is not connected to your Google profile, so it cannot tell whether the link was added or set as preferred — check on Google itself.
- ResRes is pursuing a future Reserve with Google partnership for fully integrated bookings.
Facebook Page
- If your Page offers an action button (for example Book now) that accepts a custom web address, set it to your booking link. Available button types depend on your Page's category and region.
- If no suitable action button is available, add the link as your Page's website or share it in a post.
Facebook's help centre: Facebook Business Help (opens in a new tab) — search there for "action button".
- Go to Edit profile → Links → Add external link and paste your booking link.
- Your ResRes URL can be added as a profile link. Instagram may also show booking action buttons for supported partners; adding a custom ResRes URL does not itself create one.
WhatsApp Business
- In the WhatsApp Business app, open your business profile and paste the booking link into the website field.
Everywhere else
Share the same link on your restaurant website, in your email signature and on any other profiles. One link works everywhere because it always points at the same booking page.
ResRes cannot add these links for you or confirm that you added them — each platform is managed in that platform's own app or website.
