Choose how much notice guests must give, how far ahead they can book, the online party size limit, and whether bookings confirm instantly.

Booking basics are the rules for online bookings at this location. Open Setup → Booking basics.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Minimum notice (minutes) | How close to the booking time a guest can still book online. |
| Booking horizon (days) | How far ahead the booking page shows availability. |
| Maximum online party size | Choose Set a limit to cap party size online. Larger groups have to contact you. |
| Cancellation window (minutes) | How long before the booking time a guest can still cancel themselves. |
| Grace period (minutes) | How long a late guest's table is held before the booking is treated as a no-show. |
| Ask guests for their birthday | Adds an optional birthday question to the booking form. |
How bookings are confirmed
- Confirm instantly – online bookings are confirmed straight away.
- Hold as a request for staff to accept – online bookings arrive as a Request. Staff choose Accept on the booking. The table is held while the request waits.
