Services and opening hours

Create services such as Lunch and Dinner and set the weekly hours when each one takes bookings.

A service is a named period you take bookings for, such as Lunch, Dinner or Brunch. Guests can only book times that fall inside an active service on an active day.

Add a service

  1. Open Setup and scroll to Services and opening hours, or choose Add a service in the checklist.
  2. Enter a name and save. You'll see Service added.

Set weekly hours

  1. Open the service's weekly grid.
  2. For each day, switch it on and set the start time and the Last booking time. This is the latest time a booking can start, not when the kitchen closes.
  3. Save. You'll see Weekly hours saved.

The checklist item Set weekly opening hours is only complete when every active service has at least one active day.

Tips

  • Use separate services for lunch and dinner rather than one long service. This lets each have its own hours and dining times.
  • To close for a holiday or change hours for one day, don't edit the weekly grid. Use closures and special dates instead.
  • Switching a service off stops new bookings for it. Existing bookings stay in place.
