Win-back: Bring guests back

Bring guests back emails guests who haven't visited for a while.

  1. On Autopilot, set up Bring guests back.
  2. Choose how many days without a visit should trigger it.
  3. Edit the message, send yourself a test, and turn it on.

Guests who already have a future booking don't get it. That's checked again just before sending.

Second reminder

You can add a Second reminder for guests who still haven't come back:

  1. In the win-back email, open Second reminder.
  2. Switch on Send a second reminder and choose Days after the first reminder.
  3. Write the Subject line and Preview text, or choose Use ready-written message.
  4. Choose Save second reminder. Save it before sending a test copy.

When it's off, guests get only the first reminder.

Frequency limits

To protect guests from too many emails, ResRes limits marketing per guest:

  • at most 1 marketing email a day,
  • at most 2 a week,
  • at most 5 in any 30 days.

These limits cover campaigns and automatic emails together. They're checked at send time, so a guest can't receive a burst of messages even if several emails are due at once. An email that would break a limit is skipped for that guest. They aren't settings, and they apply whatever a screen says.

Booking messages such as confirmations and reminders don't count towards these limits.

Troubleshooting

  • A guest didn't get a win-back: they may have a future booking, no permission, or have hit a frequency limit.
  • Fewer campaign emails sent than expected: some guests were skipped by frequency limits.
