Reservations for independent restaurants

Run a calmer service.

One book for the whole shift: bookings, tables, pacing, deposits and guests, decided by a single availability engine. Unlimited reservations, priced per location, with no commission on covers.

No card required · Professional plan for 30 days

One timeline for the whole service: who is seated now, which table frees next, and what is already sold.
  • One availability engine for the widget, the phone, walk-ins and the waitlist
  • Deposits charged on your own Stripe account, with no ResRes share
  • Unlimited reservations on every paid plan
  • Priced per location, not per cover

Why service gets loud

The book disagrees with itself, and the floor pays for it.

Bookings arrive in three places

The widget, the phone and the walk-in at the door are reconciled by hand, usually at the worst possible moment.

Cost rises with a good night

Commission per diner means the better the service goes, the more it costs to have taken the bookings.

Nobody fully trusts the system

When availability, deposits and guest notes live in separate tools, staff keep a private copy of the truth.

01

Get booked

Your booking page, your guests.

Live availability from your real tables and services — never a static timetable. The chosen time is held while the guest finishes, so two guests cannot take the same table, and the guest relationship stays with the restaurant.

Your own booking page shows live availability from your real tables, and holds the chosen time while the guest finishes.
02

Plan the service

Sell only what the kitchen can deliver.

Durations, turnaround, table combinations and cover pacing are yours to set. When a slot reaches its cover limit, the booking page stops offering it — nobody has to block times by hand mid-service.

Pacing closes 20:00 once the kitchen’s cover limit for that slot is reached, and the booking page simply stops offering it — no manual blocking mid-service.
03

Run the floor

Seat, move, done.

The day book and the live floor are the same reservations seen two ways. Seating a party, moving it to another table or adding a walk-in updates state, turn timers and availability in one atomic action.

Booked to Seated is one action on the floor. The table state, the turn timer and what the booking page can sell all move together.
Widget bookings, phone bookings, walk-ins and waitlist seatings land in the same book, in the same order of service.
04

Protect revenue

Fewer empty tables, fewer surprises.

Take a deposit where a booking is worth protecting, on your own Stripe account. And when a table does fall out, the waitlist is right there — with a claim so two staff cannot offer the same table at once.

A 20:00 cancellation does not become an empty table: the waitlist party is claimed by one member of staff and seated against the same availability rules.
A deposit is attached to the booking and charged on your own Stripe account. Payment state is tracked separately from booking state, so nothing is quietly treated as paid.
05

Know your guests

Context before they arrive.

Visit history, allergies, access needs, occasion and staff notes are attached to the reservation and stay with the restaurant. It is your guest list, not a marketplace’s.

Allergies, access needs and the occasion travel with the booking, so the section knows who is walking in before they arrive.

One source of truth

Every booking goes through the same rules.

Guest bookings, phone bookings, walk-ins and waitlist seatings are all decided by one availability engine using your real tables, durations and pacing. There is no second set of rules to keep in sync, and no window where two people can take the same table.

It also means new booking channels can be added later against the same core. To be explicit: external booking platforms and assistant-driven booking are design direction, not features available today.

Common questions

Do you charge a fee per cover?
No. Reservations are unlimited on every paid plan, and ResRes takes no commission on bookings or on guest deposits.
Which plan do I get during the trial?
Professional, for 30 days, starting when you first publish your booking page. It is one trial per account, not a separate trial on each plan, and a 7-day grace period follows before new public bookings stop.
Can I take deposits?
Yes, on plans that include payments. Deposits are charged on your own Stripe account and ResRes takes no share of them.
Can I use it with my existing website?
Yes. Your booking page has its own link you can point at from anywhere on your site, and it can also be embedded.
