Marketing
Reservations and guest marketing, connected by real service data.
Quiet Tuesday, a fully booked Saturday, a regular you haven’t seen since spring — the difference between those is usually a message nobody had time to send. ResRes marketing works from the bookings you already took, so the audience, the timing and the result all come from your own service.
Marketing Lite is included with an active paid Reservations subscription: 500 marketable contacts and 2,000 sends per location each month.
- Contacts built from your own reservation and visit history
- Consent-aware audiences, with unsubscribed contacts suppressed
- Campaigns and automations written in the same place you run service
- Bookings attributed back to the email that earned them
Your guest list
A guest list built from your own reservation and visit history
Every booking, every walk-in and every visit builds a durable guest record in the restaurant's ResRes account. No marketplace list, no shared pool of diners, no renting back your own regulars.
- Contacts built from your own reservation and visit history; ResRes does not supply or share consumer lists.
- Visit count, last visit, party size, occasions, dietary requirements and staff notes on the record.
- Guest search that recognises a returning name while they are still on the phone.
- ResRes is not a consumer marketplace; the restaurant controls the guest relationship inside ResRes.

Audiences
Segments that respect consent by construction
Marketing sends are limited to contacts recorded as marketable under the restaurant's consent and preference settings, and suppression is re-checked at send time.
- Consent-aware segments: only marketable contacts can enter a marketing audience.
- Build audiences from guest behaviour you can see — visit history, recency, service, occasion.
- Unsubscribes, bounces and complaints are handled and suppressed automatically.
- Unsubscribed contacts are suppressed from campaigns and automations.
Campaigns
Write it between services, not between tabs
A structured editor with templates and your own branding, so a mid-week message takes minutes rather than an afternoon.
- Structured campaign editor with templates and restaurant branding.
- Send a test copy to yourself before anything reaches a guest.
- Schedule for a quiet hour, or send now.
- Automations for the repeat moments: the follow-up after a visit, the nudge to a guest who has not been back.
Results
Which message actually filled the table
A marketing email is only worth sending if it produces covers. Eligible marketing links carry a handle through to the booking, so a completed reservation can be traced back to the campaign that prompted it.
- Attribution from an eligible marketing email call-to-action through to a booking.
- Reporting on completed bookings and covers produced by a campaign.
- Estimated booking value shown only as covers × the average spend you enter yourself — an estimate, clearly labelled, never payment revenue.
- The same reservation records the floor works from — no separate marketing version of the truth.
Included with Reservations
Marketing Lite comes with an active paid Reservations subscription
Marketing Lite gives each location 500 marketable contacts and 2,000 sends per month. It is included with an active paid Reservations subscription — it is not a separate purchase, and there is no per-cover charge attached to it.
Questions operators ask
- Is this a diner marketplace?
- No. ResRes has no consumer marketplace and no shared diner pool. Guests come to your own booking page, and the guest relationship stays with the restaurant.
- Where do the contacts come from?
- From your own reservations and visits, plus your own guest data where import is supported. ResRes does not supply or share consumer lists between restaurants.
- What does ResRes report on a campaign?
- Completed bookings and covers attributed to eligible marketing links, plus an estimated booking value based on covers multiplied by the average spend you enter. That figure is an estimate, not money taken.
- How do guests stop receiving marketing?
- Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe. Unsubscribes, bounces and complaints are suppressed automatically and apply across all campaigns and automations.
Marketing sits on top of the same engine described on Reservations, and the reasoning behind the whole approach is on Why ResRes.
